Creating Routes please help

Im using Orux for sea navigation and it seems to work great but i have run in to some problems.

I cant createa route, i dont know how to and i cant seem to find any manual for this can some one please help me?

I have only been able to place waypoints but not been able to create or save a route?

I don't think there's a way to create a route directly on OruxMaps. But you can create a route elsewhere, store it as a GPX file, import that file into OruxMaps, and display it.

I forgot about that new feature--have tried it, and it indeed works. Obviously, you can create a more precise route on a PC than on a phone, but both approaches produce routes you can follow in OruxMaps.

how can i save a route created with route creator ? i find no way to store the route with a name ( oi fileman. is installed)

This works great but the same question as the earlier guy, how do i save tha route?

When in a map go to Tools|Route Creator.
Move centre of map to point for first way-point and press '+'
Continue for subsequent way points
When final way-point placed press the 'o'.
Now if you go to Menu|Tracks you should see the track you have just created.

But I don't understand how to save or how to edit the route and it's waypoints.

Still on the wishlist it seems: The ability to drag-edit the route wayoints as well as click to insert and delete waypoints in s route like in OziCE.

And - while I'm on the subject of wishes - ability to choose some more descrete wayoint symbols would be nice. Transparent if possible so that the they reveal the map behind.

Hi;

When you use 'O' button, the track is automatically saved in the database. If you use menu--tracks, the first is your recently created track.

You can edit (insert, delete waypoints): menu--tracks; select one of them, 'load as track'. Now you can add/delete/edit wpts.

goto configuration--application, check 'not use icons' for wpts.

But not yet 'drag&drop'
