4.8.51beta and .IMG files
Hi,
I am very impress by the possibility to use an IMG file with OruxMaps. I have search this kind of solution to distribute on Android device my cycle map only compatible with Garmin device (http://qcvelogps.blogspot.ca/ ... sorry, website only in french).
The only problem I have is that on low level of zoom the streets names and POI graphics take all the place, hiding the map under. It is impossible to view town view of maps but my map is far larger then that, covering all province of Quebec ...
Are you aware of that problem and will it be solve in a futur version. If yes I will wait for next version of OruxMaps and will publicise this way of using my map on Android Device

Hello;
Sorry for the delay, I had not seen the message.
The latest version of the market allows to use garmin format maps.
I've tried it and it seems to look good.

Here is an example of Montreal island view at low zoom ... You will see only street names and lot if the map is hidden.
It is the same with POI icones ... if there is a lot they covers all under.
On Garmin device streets names disappear on low zoom and we can see the road and other details.
...
Thank's for reply ...
CL from Montreal
