Offline maps with similar names, Switch map to "this" but loads "that"?

OruxMaps v5.2.3 on a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 7" model, Android 4.0.4. Offline maps stored on external SD card, not in main memory.
(I love OruxMaps. OruxMaps rocks!!!)

I have a weird problem with Offline maps which I've generated using OruxMaps on the tablet. I've created several maps with similar names, e.g. "Ibiza- City1- City2", "Ibiza- City2- City3", "Ibiza- City3- City4", each one containing a geographic rectangle to allow off-line navigation between pairs of cities.

But sometimes (it's consistent - either this will always happen with a particular offline map, or things will always work correctly with that particular offline map) when I Switch Map -> Offline and select a particular map, it will load a [i]different[/i] offline map with a similar name.

I haven't seen this generally with the file system on Android before, so my guess is it has something to do with how OruxMaps in particular handles offline map files.

Has anyone else seen this? Any suggestions on fixing it?
