Dashboard settings not taken into account

Hi orux,

I face issues while configuring the dashboard...
Some of the settings are ignored.

- Compass direction always present (while quite useless) even if disabled
- Battery level never shown when enabled
- Altitude gain shown altitude loss icon ... (only on old style daashboard, ok on alternative one)

It also lack a clock (to allow hiding the status bar)

I use the french UI...
I also use the old style dashboard as it is better suited for small screens (less intrusive)
