More Ant+ devices support. Mostly bike speedometer.
Hello.
First of all, very good work.
I just bought a new phone (Xperia Active) that have a built in barometer and ANT+ receiver.
I'm very pleased that OruxMaps already supports the barometer and ANT+ heart ratio. But I did not found any other ANT+ supported devices. And it seems that there are plenty of it: for bike (I'm selfish, it's my regular use of OruxMaps) you have speedometer, RPM and even power sensors (very expensive but it exists).
So I'll be very thankfull if you add this kind of sensors in a future release of Orux Maps.
It seems that ANT+ has a standard protocol for all of those sensors, so the support of each of them should be (relatively) easy.
And, just like the barometer provides more accurate data about altitude, I think that a bike speedometer will provide more accurate data about distance and speed. I say that because I mostly ride mountain bike and when I use a regular speedometer and OruxMaps there is a difference between the data provided by both of them, mostly the distance and max speed.
Other advantage should be that we'll can use less gps data and save the battery registering less points.
Thank you for consedering this post.
Rot.
