Multiple tracks in mapmytracks.com

I have an HTC Hero running Android 2.1 and have OruxMaps 2.8.4.
I have configured the mapmytracks username and password, I have enabled GPS based location then started a live tracking session and then enabled Live Tracking - but I then find within my mapmytracks.com profile that there are over 5 new tracks started, all record the same session type e.g. Sailing.

I have recently wiped my Android and started over with only OruxMaps installed and it still shows this behaviour.
