How do you make an overlay data appear? Empty How do you make an overlay data appear?

I've copied a KML file that I created with Google Earth into the \Overlay directory under \Oruxmaps. But nothing happens. How do I make the overlay a KML file on the current map? (I've tried "Load routes" command, but that command turns every route in a KML into blue tracks, which is not appropriate for my use.)
