not loading layer with next zoom level when leaving area

Hello,

I have a map, created with Mobile Atlas Creator, which includes zoomlevels 11 and 15, and for a small region within that area with zoomlevel 17, using OSM hikeandbike.

When zoomed in to level 17 in the small region and then navigate out of that detailed one, the default world map is loaded, instead of switching back to the next lower zoomlevel (15) in the current map, which covers that area.

Do you have a hint for me, how to avoid that behavior and instead of switching the map, change to a zoomlevel which contains that area?

I am not sure, if the default settings had this behaviour. Is there a way to reset all changes made to the settings?
