garmin elev. & depth

Anyone else have problem with garmin topo maps elevation and depth values? I like to use map in laketrolling and it is very difficult to navigate when values changes between10 meters. In img those values are correct when take a look with mapsource.

I use a garmin topo map: I don't think oruxmaps reads the packaged dem files inside the garmin *img file. But if you can find dem data for your country to download and place in the maps/dem/ folder you can configure your dashboard to display these. This would apply to depth as well. For more accurate altitude measurements go to settings>application>gps and turn on altitude correction. This worked for me. I downloaded zipped *hgt files for the dem folder: they give same values for altitude as my garmin topo (probably same data).
