How to add additional online map to onlinemapsources.xml

Hi,

Looking at onlinemapsources.xml, it looks like it can support add additional online map. However, what's not clear to me is how to set the "url" value as it looks cryptic to me. For example, if I want to add japan version of google map, can I just add a new section and assign it a new uid and also figure out how to give it the proper url value? Does anyone know how to do this?

Yes.

If you use firefox web browser, install 'http fox' plugin.

Open the map, execute httpfox. Now you heve to create the url using what you see in httpfox:

Thanks for the tip. It turns out I just need to change "en=ja" in the query part of URL to change it to japan. Now I can see map in its local language.
