South African 1:50000 Topo maps Empty South African 1:50000 Topo maps

Our South African topo maps are in "Gauss conform" projection which is not an option on Oruxmapsdesktop. How can I calibrate my 1:50000 offline maps to accurately display the tracks?

I have found the problem and it has nothing to do with Orux. To make my tif files work on Oruxdesktop I have to first convert them into png files. The software I was using for the conversion somehow modifies and does not just save the file. Used a different program and now my SamsungS2 GPS tracks me exactly on the path. Just need a power monkey and solar charger as the battery life is not good on GPS.
