index maps as a layer

Hello. When I was using other software for maps on my previous phone Nokia, there was posibilty to show all maps what I had on my device as a layer. When that layer was chosen there were visible contours of those maps. I am forester and I have many maps in different scales on my HTC Desire HD and sometimes I have problem which one map I supose to use to see what I wanth. I wanth to say that I also have maps in many different regions of country so my text index of maps is problematic to use.
I have hope that this idea will help to improve this greate soft.
