2.8.0 IN THE MARKET (updated)

Hello, there is already a new beta of the next version, with interesting things:

1.-Download maps:



You can now create maps offline directly from OruxMaps online maps:
-> Open an online map, centre at the point that interests you.
-> Menu - more - Download Maps
-> Select width and height, in kilometres, put the map name, and download.

Limited to approx 2GB, although this application is not intended to replace mobac, used only for small maps.

If all goes well, there will be a new map offline with the new name.

2.-Datum, selectable output.



For example, in Spain if you want to see the UTM coordinates of maps offline, select European datum 1950: Spain.

3.-Other changes:
-> New adjustments in user interface, by default the buttons are on the screen, if you want to hide them, you have to select it in settings.
-> More.

As usual, AFTER A FEW TESTS, BACK TO THE VERSION OF THE MARKET.

There is some problem reading gps data. Oruxmaps hovers between correct and incorrect position randomly. When it is in incorrect position also the gps accuracy count is great, for example 5000m. I have checked with another software that the gps is correct position while Oruxmaps is showing incorrect position. So this is clearly Oruxmaps issue. The phone is Acer Liquid and the problem is not present in stable version.

Hmmmm, you are right; please, tell me that it only happens once (after starting gps).

After that, if you do not stop the gps, this issue should not happen again (unless you stop the gps).

Unfortunately it happens numerous times during the same gps session.
